Meet our School Horses!

PJ
PJ
Roan Pony of the Americas

PJ is an incredibly sweet mare we're lucky to have on our team. She's been a lesson/show horse for another farm who sadly (happily for us!) had all their young riders outgrow her. At 13-ish hands, PJ's quiet & small enough for leadline lessons but she is athletic over fences with a big stride for our more advanced riders. Everyone falls in love her instantly!
PJ is available for lease.
Pablo
Pablo
Gray Hanoverian Gelding

Pablo is a multi-tasking Dressage Schoolmaster teaching everyone about horsemanship and good riding in general. He loves carrots and to be groomed. His sweet nature makes him a barn favorite. Pablo is leased and loved by Leslie and Lana!
Dallas
Dallas
Chestnut Quarter Horse Gelding

Dallas belongs to one of our boarders and doubles as a school horse from time to time. He loves being a beginner’s horse and can easily be bribed with a cookie! He will put himself together into a nice hunter frame or collect for Dressage if you ask him to, but he’d just as soon hang out with you and go for a hack. Dallas is happily leased by Alaina!

Casablanca
Casablanca aka "Cassie"
Bay Thoroughbred Cross Mare

This beautiful 10 year old mare has fast become the barn favorite of our advanced students as she is a joy to ride. Her willingness in both the Dressage ring and over fences is second to none. Cassie has proven herself in the show rings with multiple blue & red ribbons in both the Hunter & Dressage arenas. Her Dressage scores average in the mid to high 60’s, and she has started XC schooling. Our brave and sensitive girl is available for lease.

Remington
Remington aka "Remi"
Liver Chestnut All American Gelding

"Been there - Done that!" is Remi's motto! We have no notion of Remi's breeding, but we don't care. He excels as a lesson horse showing our new riders all the ropes. He happily babysits the youngest riders as they learn to walk & trot and then teaches them to canter when the time comes. He has had a long and storied career and we are so pleased he has joined our school.
Mickey
Cream Soda aka "Mickey"
Cremello Appaloosa/Cream Draft Gelding

This is another horse who wasn't doing much due to his human Mom's pregnancy. He came to us out of shape and in need of a job. Luckily we found him one! Mickey LOVES to jump and he's a cute mover in the Dressage ring to boot so he's looking at an Eventing career. He does the occasional lesson while Linda trains him. He's come a long way in a short time and is rapidly moving up. From crossrails to 2'3 and from Intro to Training Level in 4 short months! If you are an experienced rider looking for a fun project, see Linda about the possiblity of working with him.

None of our horses are for sale at this time.
